Cart Hangover in one number.
Everything runs in your browser. Your file is not uploaded, not stored and never passed to anyone else.
How much have I spent on Amazon?
Amazon does not show that total anywhere — there is no lifetime overview across your order years. Through the data request page you can get your complete order history as a file; Cart Hangover reads it in your browser and works out the total, from your first order year until today.
What does the report show?
Lifetime spending across every year, the timeline as a life line, spending by category, your return rate including refunded amounts, night purchases, your most expensive and most frequent items, a weekday-by-hour heatmap, and what the money would have become had you invested it. The period can be narrowed to single years — including a year-in-review mode. You can take the numbers with you as CSV or JSON; those files are created on your device too.
How do I get my Amazon order history?
Through Amazon's data request page: choose the category “Your Orders” and
click the confirmation email. Amazon discontinued the old CSV order report in 2023 —
the data request has been the only way since. Out of the archive, only the file
Order History.csv is needed.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The file is read in browser memory only. There is no upload path in the source, no cookies, no tracking. Addresses, tracking numbers and gift messages are never read in the first place.
What does Cart Hangover cost?
Nothing. No sign-up, no account, no payment.
